Keverdag Schagen 2006

Last sunday I went to the Keverdag Schagen. Schagen is a small town, about 20km from my hometown. The meeting was nice. Spotted some nice Karmann Ghia's there.

Pracht en Praal tour

Yesterday we drove the "Pracht en Praal"" tour. organised by Hans en Marijke for the Aircooled VW Club. It was a beautiful tour with splendid weather.

Karmann Ghia Club NL meeting

The meeting of the Karmann Ghia Club Nederland was a great succes. 35 Karmann Ghia's went to the coastal district of Noord-Holland. At this time of the year this district is famous for its flowerbulbs. So this gave some nice fotos.

T34 France web-blog

Ok, the Blog is in French, but got some cool pictures.

Karmann Ghia Ski-roofrack

Long time, no see. Been busy with a new job. Now working at a yacht-builder in Holland. Had no time for the blog.

But I'm back again. Summer is coming! And I've been looking for a while now for a ski-roofrack for the Karmann. And so you have none, and now I own two of them. The first one is from the firm Car-Fa in Sweden. This is the same one on the picture of the car of Lutz Gaas in Germany.

The other one I came across on Ebay Germany and is from the company Leitz in Germany. It's New Old Stock (NOS) and still in the original paperboard box.

So, which one it's going to be for this summer? And I'm looking for another pair of old wooden skies. Already have one pair. If you have, or know where to get one for a fair price (and you're living in Holland) please place a comment.

It's going to be busy

In may it's going to be busy in Noord-Holland. I'm going to organise for the Karmann Ghia Club NL a tour on 7th of may and Hans is going to organise on the 14th of may a tour for the Aircooled Club Holland. Hans has made some pictures to announce the tour in the next clubmagazine. Enjoy the dutch landscape..

The goodies have arrived...

This week several "goodies" arrived.

1.) I thought I had all the parts for the sperrwolf (shift lock). But on a closer look I noticed that I still missed some parts. Fortunaly I found these parts on the TheSamba.com So now I got the sperrwolf complete.
2.) This week also arrived the 1964 official Dutch owners manual. It's going to fit perfectly in my 1965 (modelyear 1964) Karmann Ghia.
